	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). SBS Transit Bus Service 42 is a residential route serving the private residential estates of Kembangan, Siglap and Opera Estate, connecting them to Kembangan station.

The route receives moderate to low demand throughout the day due to its catchment being mainly low density estates. The route is particularly patronised for residents between Kembangan Estates and Frankel Estate to the nearest MRT, as well as students from Opera Estate Primary School.

It plies a unique downhill route around Opera Estate, also providing estates in Frankel & Siglap, with a direct connection Kembangan station.
