SBS Transit Bus Service 147 serves residential areas like Clementi, Commonwealth, Bukit Merah, Serangoon and Hougang. It connects along the Northeast of Singapore via the City, which also plies Chinatown, Bras Basah and Little India. It also follows the North East Line route from NE3EW16TE17Outram Park to NE12CC13Serangoon stations.

SBS Transit Short-Trip Service 147A operates during Weekday Morning Peak hours and is to cater demand for Service 147 to the City areas of Little India, Bras Basah, Clarke Quay and Chinatown.
