	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Bus Service 57 is a residential and urban route linking Bishan to Bukit Merah. From Bishan, the route passes through Toa Payoh and Thomson, continuing to the City areas of Rochor, Fullerton and Shenton Way, and then heading West towards HarbourFront, Alexandra and Depot Road.

For residents of Toa Payoh, Service 57 provides a direct bus connection to the CBD in addition to the North–South Line. It also links Depot Road with CC28Telok Blangah and NE1CC29HarbourFront stations daily. Demand is fairly high throughout the day with many connections provided by this service.
