Raffles Place (NS26/EW14) is a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the North South Line and the East West Line. It used to be the largest and deepest MRT station with a depth of 21.4m below ground level.

Measuring 41m long and 1.8m high, the wall murals reflect the early history of Singapore from a fishing village through the industrial revolution and development of the island into a tourist resort culminating in the construction of the MRT.
