Tower Transit Bus Service 49 is an inter-town bus service that connects the residential estates of Jurong East, Taman Jurong subzone (Jurong West), and Hong Kah subzone (Jurong West).

It is the 16^th bus service to benefit from the Land Transport Authority’s (LTA) Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP) (15^th bus service introduced under the programme and the 9^th bus service extended under the programme).
