	From 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 10.30pm every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. SBS Transit Bus Service 198 is an inter-town route connecting the residential estates of Jurong West, Jurong East, Clementi, Queenstown, and Bukit Merah via the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE). The service serves various educational institutions and industrial estates along its route. It complements Service 157 in Jurong West and Yuhua West, as well as Service 147 in Queenstown and Bukit Merah.

Short-Trip Service 198A supplements the residential demand from Boon Lay Interchange to Jurong West Avenue 1 and Jurong East Avenue 1. Operating daily during evening peak hours, it terminates at Jurong East Avenue 1 (Opp Parc Oasis).
