SBS Transit Bus Service 123 is a inter-town service connecting the residential estates of Bukit Merah and Queenstown to the central areas of the Orchard shopping belt, River Valley, Outram and the island resort of Sentosa.

This service acts as a leisure bus route, providing a unique link between hotels and shopping areas to various attractions in Sentosa island for leisure tourism, and experiences higher demand by tourists during tourist peak seasons in Singapore. Similarly, it also provides a reliable alternative to the Sentosa Express for exiting Sentosa island during evening peak hours of the tourist season when queues at S4Beach station become crowded.

This service will call at the same stops along Bukit Purmei Avenue in both directions. Commuters are advised to check the electronic destination signage for the direction, and the destination plate before boarding the bus at those stops. This service uses coloured information plates.

Prior to its route amendment to Sentosa in 2017, Service 123's route forms an almost closed "ring" shape, providing two-way connections to Bukit Merah, calling at Bukit Merah Central and at EW17Tiong Bahru. After it was amended away from HarbourFront, its full day route variant, Service 123M, remained in HarbourFront Interchange, supplementing the demand of its parent service by connecting the residential neighbourhoods along Bukit Purmei Avenue to rail services at Tiong Bahru and Harbourfront.
