	From 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 10.30pm every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. SBS Transit Bus Service 123 is a inter-town service connecting the residential estates of Bukit Merah and Queenstown to the central areas of the Orchard shopping belt, River Valley, Outram and the island resort of Sentosa.

This service acts as a leisure bus route, providing a unique link between hotels and shopping areas to various attractions in Sentosa island for leisure and tourism, and experiences high demand from tourists during tourist peak seasons in Singapore. Similarly, it also provides a reliable alternative to the Sentosa Express for exiting Sentosa island during evening peak hours of the tourist season when queues at Beach station become crowded.

This service calls at the same bus stop(s) along Bukit Purmei Avenue in both directions (towards Bukit Merah Interchange and Sentosa Beach Station Terminal). Commuters should check the Electronic Display Signage (EDS) or Destination Plate displayed before boarding.

Prior to its route amendment to Sentosa in 2017, Service 123's route formed an almost closed "ring" shape, providing two-way connections to Bukit Merah, calling at Bukit Merah Central and at Tiong Bahru station. After it was amended away from HarbourFront, its full day route variant, Service 123M, remained in HarbourFront Interchange, supplementing the demand of its parent service by connecting the residential neighbourhoods along Bukit Purmei Avenue to rail services at Tiong Bahru station and HarbourFront station.
