	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Please refer here for more information. From Sunday, 26 January 2025, two bus stops along Thomson Road will be merged and relocated to facilitate works for the North South Corridor. Bus Service 58 serves as a residential route connecting Bishan, Lorong Chuan, Serangoon, Kaki Bukit and Pasir Ris. It is the fastest connection between Pasir Ris and Kaki Bukit.

The route encounters high demand during the peak hours from Kaki Bukit and Ubi industrial estates. Hence, the peak hour fleet is actually larger than the regular off-peak on Weekdays. Off-peak demand is rather weak, and as such, low frequencies are the norm.

Short-Trip Services 58A operates from Upper Serangoon Rd (NE12CC13Serangoon station Exit H) and ends at Tampines Ave 10 (Tampines Wafer Fab Pk) and it operates during Weekday morning & evening peak hours and supplements the high demand for Service 58 between residential/industrial areas and various MRT stations along its route.

Short-Trip Service 58B operates from Pasir Ris Bus Interchange and ends at Upper Paya Lebar Rd (Aft CC11Tai Seng station) and it also operates during Weekday morning & evening peak hours and supplements the high demand for Service 58 between residential/industrial areas and various MRT stations along its route.
