SBS Transit Bus Service 158 is a inter-town service directly connecting the residential estates of Serangoon, MacPherson, Aljunied and Tanjong Rhu. Despite running parrallel to the Circle Line, it is the only service that provides a unique connection between Aljunied station and Mountbatten station via Geylang Road and Sims Avenue, and the only service to ply the full stretch of Tanjong Rhu Road, serving Bay East Garden, Dunman High School and more residential apartments along the road.
