	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. SBS Transit Bus Service 21X is a peak hour limited-stop supplementary route variant of Service 21, offering quicker journeys between the residential areas of Whampoa (within Balestier, subzone of Novena) and Novena station. It incorporates non-stop sectors along Balestier Road and Moulmein Road. Although classified as an “Express-Feeder” service, it follows regular distance-based fares, similar to Service 21.

This service is the 20^th bus service introduced under the Land Transport Authority’s (LTA) Bus Connectivity Enhancement Programme (BCEP).

This service serves Jalan Bahagia and Jalan Tentaram in both directions (towards Thomson Road and towards Saint Michael's Terminal). Commuters are to check the Electronic Display Signage (EDS) or Destination Signage Plates on the bus before boarding.
