!	From 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 10.30pm every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). SBS Transit Feeder Service 261 is a feeder bus service that serves residents along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3 and Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10. It connects residential blocks, schools, and public amenities in Ang Mo Kio Neighbourhood 4 to Ang Mo Kio station, Ang Mo Kio Town Centre, and Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 1.

Branded as the first "school-friendly" public bus service, the initiative was launched by SBS Transit in May 2024 to assist students commuting between Ang Mo Kio Interchange and Townsville Primary School. Dedicated bus ambassadors are deployed on three designated morning and afternoon trips of Service 261, catering to the reporting and dismissal times of the school.^[1]

Operating hours are extended on the eves of Christmas, New Year, and Lunar New Year to align with the last train at Ang Mo Kio station. Revised timing will be announced closer to the respective dates by the operator.
