SBS Transit Bus Service 130 is a trunk route between Ang Mo Kio and the Central Business District (CBD), passing through Sin Ming, Thomson, Balestier, Jalan Besar, Bugis and Shenton Way.

Along with Bus Service 162, it serves the inner residential estates of Sin Ming and is a direct route from Ang Mo Kio, thereby experiencing demand from residents and industrial workers, especially during peak hours.

The service shares the Ang Mo Kio – Shenton Way start/end termini with Bus Service 133.
