1 Service 970 SD will perform one (1) crossover trip on Service 972M during Weekdays AM Peak.. Several Service 972 & Service 972M DDs will perform one (1) down-route trip on Service 975 from Brickland Road (Bus Stop 30081 - Opp Hai Inn See Tp) towards Bukit Panjang Interchange before & during Weekdays AM Peak. SMB1468M (Service 970) & 3 SDs will operate on Service 972M on Sundays & Public Holidays. Full DD fleet on Saturdays for Service 972M. Service 972/972M, Service 180, Service 188 & Service 979 DDs are interchangeable. This service practises jumpbus & interlining. All Service 972 & Service 972M buses park at Woodlands Bus Park (WLBP). Weekdays: 15 AM - 19 PM / 16 S1 / 2 S2 / 1 TQ (38 buses) Saturdays: 16 AM - 18 PM / 3 S1 (21 buses) Sundays: 16 AM - 17 PM / 3 S2 (20 buses)

Wheelchair-accessible at launch.
		2022	3 April	Amended to ply Senja Rd and Bt Panjang Ring Rd towards Orchard Rd with the conversion of Senja Lk to one-way traffic.
				Amended to ply Pending Rd, Petir Rd and Dairy Farm Rd, replacing the deleted sectors of Service 971, skipping Bt Panjang Rd.
		2023	8 January	Skips the bus stop outside Newton Stn Exit B along Scotts Rd temporarily to facilitate upgrading works.
			27 August	Serves reinstated bus stop outside Newton Stn Exit B along Scotts Rd.
