!	From 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 10.30pm every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. SMRT Buses Bus Service 180 is a trunk route connecting Jurong West and Jurong East to Choa Chu Kang and Bukit Panjang. It is the most direct route between the Jurong region and Bukit Panjang, plying only the major roads of Boon Lay Way and Bukit Batok Rd, attracting huge passenger demand.

Service 180 has seen a surge in demand in the 2020s with the development of Tengah into a new town. Since then, efforts have been made to improve reliability by adding more buses and increasing the frequency of this service.

Short-Trip Service 180A supplements demand from Boon Lay, Lakeside, and Chinese Garden to the residential estates of Bukit Batok and Bukit Panjang. It operates during weekday evening peak hours and after the last bus of Service 180. It terminates at Bukit Panjang Rd (Blk 183).
