SMRT Buses Express Bus Service 188e is a morning peak one-way limited-stop express route variant of bus service 188, offering quicker links for the residential areas of Bukit Batok and Jurong East to the industrial sectors of Pasir Panjang and Alexandra.
It skips selected stops along its parent route while incorporating non-stop sectors along Jurong East Street 11, Jurong Town Hall Road and West Coast Highway.
