SMRT Trains
  • From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). Bus Service 858 is an inter-town route plying between the housing estates of Woodlands, Sembawang, Yishun, and stretching far east to Changi Airport. Much of its route plies express sectors along the Seletar Expressway (SLE), Tampines Expressway (TPE) and Pan-Island Expressway (PIE). At 73.4km long, it is the longest bus route (after the shortening of NightRider NR7 in 2014). The ride from Yishun to Changi Airport takes about 38 minutes in smooth traffic.

As the quickest transport link from housing estates of the North to Changi Airport, as well as providing valuable inter-town connections in the North, this service encounters moderate to high demand throughout the day. Bus Service 110 complements this service from Tampines Expressway (TPE) to Changi Airport, which helps to provide additional capacity from Punggol to Changi Airport, and also served Changi Airport Terminal 4.

All Service 858 buses departing Woodlands Interchange after 2315 hours will operate as Short Trip 858A.
