SBS Transit City Direct Service 677 provides residents of Sengkang, who rely on the rail network and feeder buses, with a direct travel alternative to the Central Business District (CBD). This service incorporates an express sector between Buangkok Drive and Central Business District via Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) and Marina Coastal Expressway (MCE).

It benefit from the Land Transport Authority’s (LTA) Bus Connectivity Enhancement Programme (BCEP) (8th bus service introduced), and the 28th peak-hour unidirectional city direct bus service introduced.

Evening peak-hour departures will be brought forward to the afternoon on the eves of Christmas, New Year, and Chinese New Year. Revised timing will be announced closer to the respective dates by the operator.
