SBS Transit Bus Service 102 is an inter-town route linking the residential estates of Hougang and Sengkang to Seletar Airport. It connects residential blocks, schools, and public amenities in Hougang Neighbourhood 4 and Sengkang Neighbourhoods 2, 3, and 4 to Buangkok, Sengkang, Fernvale, and Hougang stations and Town Centres of Sengkang and Hougang. This service complements Service 85 between Sengkang Town Centre and Fernvale.

This service is the 42^nd bus service introduced under the Land Transport Authority’s (LTA) Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP).

Short-Trip Service 102A supplements the residential demand from Sengkang station to Sengkang West during the evening peak period, terminating at Sengkang West Way (Opp Blk 461B).

Short-Trip Service 102B supplements the residential demand from Sengkang West to Sengkang station during weekday morning peak hours, terminating at Sengkang East Way (Opp Sengkang Stn/Blk 260A).
