SBS Transit Bus Service 852 is an inter-town bus service that connects the residential estates of Yishun, Ang Mo Kio, Bukit Timah and Bukit Batok. This service largely duplicates with service 851 between Yishun and Marymount subzone (Bishan) and service 74 between Ang Mo Kio and Bukit Timah. As a result, it primarily serves as a supplementary role, leading to its low frequency and the absence of high-capacity buses.
