SBS Transit Bus Service 122 is an inter-town route linking residential areas of Bukit Merah and Queenstown. It connects residential blocks, schools, and public amenities in Tiong Bahru, Margaret Drive, and Commonwealth to Outram Park, Tiong Bahru, and Commonwealth stations. This service complements Service 32 from Commonwealth station to Kay Siang Road.

This service is the 38^th bus service introduced under the Land Transport Authority’s (LTA) Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP).

Sundays & Public Holidays: Departing at 0600 hours & 0611 hours. 1 Service 122 bus (Duty 28A) & 1 other Service 122 bus will perform one (1) down-route trip as Service 122 from Commonwealth Drive (Bus Stop 11439 - Blk 92) towards Kampong Bahru Terminal before Weekdays AM Peak, departing at 0600 hours & 0614 hours. SBS8762H (Service 122 - Duty 77E) will perform two (2) crossover trips on Service 120 during Weekdays AM Off-Peak, departing Kampong Bahru Terminal at 1310 hours & 1440 hours.
