Bus Service 291

	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Selected bus services will have their operating hours extended to coincide with the last train timing. SBS Transit Feeder Service 291 is a feeder service that serves residents along Tampines Street 83, Tampines Street 81, Tampines Street 23, and Tampines Street 33. It connects residential blocks, schools, and public amenities in Tampines Neighbourhood 8 in the West loop and Tampines Neighbourhoods 2 and 3 in the East loop to Tampines Regional Centre.

Formerly known as Townlink Service 291, the Townlink branding was discontinued in August 2018 as part of a standardisation exercise by the Land Transport Authority. Terminating trips of Service 291 were also changed to a ‘T’ suffix during this period, which were previously indicated using a ‘T’ plate on the windscreen of buses.

Operating hours are extended on the eves of public holidays to align with the last train at Tampines station. Revised timing will be announced closer to the respective dates by the operator.

!	Note: Commuters transferring bus between 291 and 291T to continue their journey towards the other loop at Tampines Interchange has to tap out and in within 45 minutes for a valid transfer and no extra fare will be charged for their journey.
