SBS Transit Bus Service 18 is an inter-town service linking the residential estate of Tampines and Bedok. It was amended to ply Bedok North Street 2 with the opening of Bedok Temporary Interchange in 2011 to increase bus connectivity for residents in the area and extended to Tampines Concourse in 2016.

Service 18 was later amended to serve Tampines Streets 32, 33, and 34 as part of the Downtown Line 3 – Bus Service Enhancements from 21 Oct 2017. The route amendment provides a direct connection for Tampines Streets 32, 33, and 34 residents to Tampines East station as well as providing alternative travel options between Tampines and Bedok apart from Services 291 and 28.

The service was further amended in November 2022 with the opening of Tampines North Interchange via Tampines North Drive 1 and Tampines Avenue 9 while in addition, the service was amended in the other direction to Bedok North Bus Depot via Bedok North Avenue 4.
