SMRT Buses Feeder Service 301 is a feeder service that serves residents along Choa Chu Kang Avenue 2, Choa Chu Kang Avenue 5 and Keat Hong Close. It connects residential blocks, schools, and public amenities in Choa Chu Kang Neighbourhoods 2 and 4 to Choa Chu Kang Town Centre.
Following the completion of the Built-To-Order flats along Choa Chu Kang Avenue 5, the Land Transport Authority and SMRT announced plans to introduce Service 301 to Keat Hong Close via Choa Chu Kang Avenue 3 with the introduction of Service 983 and amendment of Service 300 in February 2015.[1][2] Plans were later revised to take effect in April 2015, with Service 301 modified to loop at Choa Chu Kang Avenue 5 via Choa Chu Kang Avenue 2.[3][4]
It is the 39th bus service to benefit from the Land Transport Authority’s (LTA) Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP) (53rd bus service introduced under the programme).
Operating hours are extended on the eves of public holidays to align with the last train at NS4BP1Choa Chu Kang. Revised timing will be announced closer to the respective dates by the operator.
