Go-Ahead City Direct Service 673 provides residents of Punggol West, who rely on the rail network and feeder buses, with a direct travel alternative to the Central Business District (CBD). This service incorporates an express sector between Punggol Way and Central Business District via Tampines Expressway (TPE), Central Expressway (CTE), Outram Road, and Cantonment Road.

It benefit from the Land Transport Authority’s (LTA) Bus Connectivity Enhancement Programme (BCEP) (2^nd bus service introduced under the programme), and the 23^rd peak-hour unidirectional city direct bus service introduced.

Evening peak-hour departures will be brought forward to the afternoon on the eves of Christmas, New Year, and Chinese New Year. Revised timing will be announced closer to the respective dates by the operator.
