SBS Transit Bus Service 70 is a trunk service connecting Yio Chu Kang, Serangoon, Guillemard to the Central Business District. It is known for plying two stretches of roads continuously, namely Yio Chu Kang Road and Paya Lebar Road, which continues into Nicoll Highway before reaching the city areas. This service sees high demand during peak hours as a main connector from residential estates along Yio Chu Kang Rd to Serangoon station and offices near Paya Lebar station.

Service 70 only operates during office hours on weekdays and Saturdays, and its variant service 70M will operate alternately during non-office hours.

  • SG1146U (Duty 32S) & SG1152B (Duty 29S) will perform crossover trips on Service 138 during Mondays to Thursdays PM Peak.
  • SG5311H & SG5315Y will perform one (1) crossover trip on Express 850E towards Shenton Way during Mondays to Thursdays AM Peak, departing Yishun Street 41 (Bus Stop 59581 - Blk 432C) at 0725 hours & 0730 hours respectively.
