	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. SBS Transit Bus Service 147 serves residential areas of Clementi, Commonwealth, Bukit Merah, Serangoon and Hougang. It connects the Northeast regions to the City, which plies Chinatown, Bras Basah and Little India.

Despite following the North East Line route from NE3EW16TE17Outram Park to NE12CC13Serangoon stations, demand for this service is popular as it offers convenient doorstep access for residents and workers to access more specific points inside Chinatown and Little India, given the large areas of both city areas.
