SBS Transit Bus Service 851e is an express route variant of Bus Service 851 that connects the residential estates of Yishun and Ang Mo Kio to the city areas such as Outram and Downtown Core.
Unlike its parent route, Service 851e plies the express sector of Ang Mo Kio Ave 1 and Central Expressway (CTE), skipping Marymount and Novena. It bears similarities in its purpose to now-defunct Chinatown Direct CT8, where they both serve Ang Mo Kio and Chinatown.
