	From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). This is to facilitate the upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of the new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs) on the BPLRT network. Tower Transit Bus Service 859A is a supplementary residential bus service that operates within Sembawang via Canberra Road, Admiralty Link, Sembawang Drive, Admiralty Drive, and Sembawang Crescent. It connects residential blocks, schools, and public amenities in Sembawang Neighbourhoods 3 and 4 to Sembawang Town Centre.

Originally ending at Sembawang Way (Opp Blk 315), it benefit from the Land Transport Authority’s (LTA) Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP) (3^rd bus service extended) where it was converted into a full-day bus service and extended to terminate at Sembawang Interchange.

Operating hours are extended on the eves of public holidays to align with the last train at Sembawang station. Revised timing will be announced closer to the respective dates by the operator.

Any Service 882 DD (Duty 656S02) will perform one (1) crossover trip on City Direct 656 during Weekdays AM Peak, then perform three (3) crossover trips on Service 859A during Weekdays AM Off-Peak. 1 SD (Duty 656S02) will perform one (1) crossover trip on City Direct 656 during Weekdays PM Peak. Several Service 859 DDs will perform crossover trips on Service 859A during Weekends & Public Holidays. Service 859, Service 859A and Service 859B Volvo B5LH buses are interchangeable. This service practises jumpbus. Weekdays: 2A-2P (2 buses) Weekends: 2A-3P (3 buses)
