On 28 December 2005, a 32-year-old Indian man died within minutes after he fell onto the tracks and was subsequently hit by an oncoming west-bound train. SMRT Trains
  • From Sunday, 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end an hour earlier at 22:30 every Thursday to Sunday (except Public Holidays). Kallang (EW10) is a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the East–West Line. This station used to be the nearest MRT station to the Singapore Indoor Stadium or National Stadium before Stadium station on the Circle Line was opened.

On 28 December 2005, a 32-year-old Indian man died within minutes after he fell onto the tracks and was subsequently hit by an oncoming west-bound train. The incident occurred at about 3pm and disrupted train services heading towards Boon Lay for 50 minutes. 4000 passengers had their trips disrupted.
