Tower Transit Bus Service 969 is an inter-town bus service that connects the residential estates of Woodlands, Yishun, and Tampines. It primarily utilises the Tampines Expressway (TPE) corridor to link the north (Yishun) with the east (Tampines), making it one of five bus services (bus services 161, 168, 858, and 965) popular among residents travelling between the north and east.

Travelling between NS14Khatib and EW2DT32Tampines stations takes approximately 35 minutes, whereas the MRT (via NS17CC15Bishan, and CC10DT26MacPherson) takes approximately 45 minutes. The convenience makes this service a practical option for commuters, as compared to the MRT.

This service duplicates with bus service 965 from Woodlands to the Tampines Expressway (TPE) corridor, with no significant difference in journey time. However, it serves Chong Pang City instead of Yishun Avenue 7, making it a popular choice among commuters in the north who frequent Chong Pang City for its amenities. As a result of high demand, high capacity 3-door buses have been frequently deployed to this service.
